Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

In one of your aswers you have mentioned vaccinating horses twice a year, when is the best time to do these vaccinations? (And taking in consideraion the horses age?)?

Answered: 22/2/2008, 11:50 by Douglas Welsh.

Vaccinating twice a year seems to be the trend for breeders who have young stock and they will vaccinate foals at 4-5 months then again about 4 months later. The simple answer to when to vaccinate if you are vaccinating twice per year is not during an outbreak.
